Short version: Garden Kids Daily does not collect personal information from children or anyone else. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no ads, and no analytics profiles. Everything a child creates stays on their own device.
1. Made for children
The App is directed to children and is built to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Apple App Store Kids Category rules and Google Play’s Families policy. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from children.
2. What we do not collect
- No name, email address, phone number, birthday or postal address.
- No account or login of any kind.
- No photographs, camera access, microphone access, contacts or location.
- No advertising identifiers, and no third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.
- No social features — there is no way to chat with, message or share with other users.
3. What stays on the device
Your creations, chosen language and app settings are stored locally on your device (in the App’s own storage). They are never uploaded to us and we cannot see them. Deleting the App deletes this data. Deleting saved content inside the App is protected by a parent gate.
4. Purchases
Optional purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, app-specific identifier and the purchase receipt from the store — not a name, email address or any information that identifies the child. 5. Parental controls
A parent gate stands in front of the purchase screen and before saved content can be deleted, so a young child cannot reach them alone.
6. Links out of the App
Any link that leaves the App (for example to a store page or to this policy) is placed behind the parent gate.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. To remove everything the App has stored, delete the App from the device. Purchase records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat are governed by their policies.
8. Your rights
Parents and guardians may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about their child. Our answer will be: none. If you believe a child’s personal information has somehow reached us, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date above. If a change ever affected how children’s information is handled, we would seek verifiable parental consent before it took effect.
