Terms & Conditions

Quran Daily · Last updated 3 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Quran Daily mobile application (the “App”), published by Safiye Meram (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please delete the App.

1. Who may use the App

Quran Daily is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must read and accept these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the App.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Qur’an content and intellectual property

The Qur’an text, translations, tafsir excerpts, mushaf page images and recitations shown in the App are obtained from third-party sources, including AlQuran.cloud and Quran.com (Quran Foundation), and remain the property of their respective rights holders and publishers. They are provided to you for personal reading and study. You may not extract, redistribute or use them in other products, and any separate licence terms of those sources continue to apply.

The App’s own code, interface design and text are owned by us and are protected by copyright.

Your reading progress, bookmarks and settings belong to you. They are stored on your own device and are not uploaded to us.

4. Accuracy of religious content

We take care in selecting the sources the App draws from, but we do not author, edit or verify the Qur’an text, translations, tafsir or recitations, and we cannot guarantee that they are free of error, omission or transmission fault. The App is a reading aid, not a religious authority. For matters of religious ruling, recitation correctness or scholarly interpretation, consult a qualified scholar and an authoritative printed copy of the Qur’an.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

  • Optional paid content and subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed by them, not by us. Prices are shown before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Internet connection and availability

Qur’an text, mushaf pages and recitations are downloaded from third-party services and then cached on your device. An internet connection is required the first time you open content that has not yet been downloaded. Those services are operated independently of us and may change, rate-limit or become unavailable, which may prevent new content from loading. Content you have already downloaded remains available offline.

We may add, change or remove features, and may stop supporting older versions or discontinue the App. We will not delete data stored on your device.

7. Reminders

Reading reminders are optional and are scheduled locally on your device. They depend on your device’s notification permission and its power-saving behaviour, and we cannot guarantee that a reminder will be delivered at an exact time. Do not rely on the App as your only reminder for time-sensitive obligations.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the App unlawfully, do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it or to the third-party services it draws from, and do not use automated means to interact with it or to bulk-download content through it.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of saved reading progress resulting from device loss, deletion of the App, or device failure. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Third parties

The App uses RevenueCat to manage purchases, the Apple App Store / Google Play for billing, and third-party Qur’an content services for text and audio. Their terms apply to those parts of the service. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the App.

11. Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “last updated” date above will change, and continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
