Data deletion

SafeWall · Last updated 19 September 2026

SafeWall keeps almost nothing. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your phone, and the one anonymous record held outside it is removed on request.

App and developer

Application: SafeWall. Developer: Safiye Meram, Esenler/Istanbul, Türkiye. Contact: gelistirbizi@gmail.com.

Data stored on your device

  • Scan log: the gradient profile, targets, duration and notes of each saved sweep.
  • Calibration: the background field value and the hollow-wall reference tap.
  • Settings: language, wall profile, sensitivity, mains frequency, field unit, sound and vibration.
  • Free scan counter.

How to delete it: uninstall SafeWall. Everything above goes with the app and is not recoverable. To clear it without uninstalling, open Setup and choose Reset everything.

Data stored outside your device

Only a purchase record held by RevenueCat: a randomly generated user identifier, the store receipt, your country and the app version. It is not linked to your name, email or store account, and it exists so your Pro licence can be recognised on your other devices.

How to delete it: write to gelistirbizi@gmail.com from any address, say that you want your SafeWall purchase record deleted, and name the store you bought from. We action it within 30 days and confirm by reply. Deleting it means a future Restore purchases can no longer find the purchase, so ask only if you accept that.

What is never stored anywhere

  • Audio. The stud finder analyses each tap in memory and overwrites it; no recording is ever created.
  • Magnetic readings, other than inside a scan you chose to save.
  • Name, email, phone number, location, contacts or photos.
  • Analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers.

Retention

Device data is kept until you delete it. The purchase record is kept for as long as the purchase is valid, or until you ask for it to be removed. Apple and Google keep their own transaction records under their own policies and for their own legal retention periods; we have no access to those and cannot delete them.
