Terms & Conditions

Teacher's Daily · Last updated 5 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Teacher's Daily mobile application (the “App”), published by Safiye Meram. By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please delete the App.

1. The App is not pedagogical or administrative advice

Teacher's Daily is a personal productivity, habit tracking and motivation tool for educators. It is not a gradebook, a student information system, or a source of pedagogical advice. Nothing in the App, including goal suggestions, specialty templates, coaching messages and statistics, constitutes pedagogical or administrative advice. Suggested goals and specialty content are generic illustrations and may not reflect the rules, deadlines or professional obligations that apply in your country or institution. Verifying every rule and every deadline against authoritative sources remains your responsibility.

2. Who may use the App

The App is intended for adults aged 18 or over who work or study in the field: teachers, lecturers, trainee teachers and school staff. It is not directed to children and contains no content designed for them.

3. Professional confidentiality is your responsibility

You may choose to enter lesson notes, observations about students or voice recordings into the App. All of it stays on your own device and is never transmitted to us (see the Privacy Policy). Because the App is not a student record system and offers no institutional safeguards, you are responsible for deciding what you record, for complying with your school’s data protection policy and the law protecting student data (such as the GDPR, FERPA or your national equivalent), and for the physical security of your device. We recommend enabling the App’s PIN lock together with your device’s own screen lock and encryption. If your device is lost, unlocked or shared, the data in the App can be exposed, and we have no way to wipe it remotely.

4. Licence

We grant you a personal, non transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control. You may use it in the course of your professional work, but you may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

5. Content and intellectual property

All code, text, design and artwork in the App are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright.

Everything you create inside the App, meaning your goals, work logs, notes and voice recordings, belongs to you. It is stored on your own device and is not uploaded to us.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

  • Optional premium features are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel them in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • The free trial is defined by the store. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue them directly.

7. Reminders and notifications

The App can show local reminders at times you choose. These are device notifications and may be delayed or suppressed by the operating system, battery saving modes or your notification settings. Grade submission, reporting dates, parent meetings and safeguarding duties belong in your school’s own systems.

8. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, stop supporting older versions or discontinue the App. We will not delete data stored on your device.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the App unlawfully, do not attempt to disrupt it or gain unauthorised access, and do not interact with it by automated means.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages; for any missed deadline, reporting error or disciplinary consequence arising from reliance on the App; or for loss of saved data resulting from device loss, deletion of the App or device failure. Keep your own backups using the export function. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Third parties

The App uses RevenueCat to manage purchases and the Apple App Store or Google Play for billing. Their terms apply to those parts of the service. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the App.

12. Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the App. We may end your licence if you materially breach these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date above will change, and continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
