Activity Daily · Last updated 6 September 2026

Activity Daily is made by one person. Write to gelistirbizi@gmail.com and you will get a real answer, usually within two working days. The questions below are the ones that come up most.

What is free, and what does Premium add?

The free version is a working app: a new activity every day, the whole activity screen, the timer, the celebration, the ideas, reading aloud, the microphone and the parent area with all its statistics. Four things are limited on it: one child profile, four hobbies at a time, one change of those hobbies, and one extra activity draw a day. Premium lifts exactly those four. It is sold monthly, yearly, or once for a lifetime, and all three plans unlock the same thing.

Why can my child only change their hobbies once?

The four hobby slots are what shapes the free version: they decide which activities the app can offer. Without a limit on changing them the slots would mean nothing, because the same four could be used up and swapped for four more until every activity had been played. The hobbies already picked are never taken away, and nothing already earned is lost. Premium removes the limit, and hobbies can then be changed as often as the child likes.

I bought Premium but it is still locked

Open the profile tab, tap the Premium card, pass the grown-up check and tap Restore purchases. Make sure the device is online and signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us the App Store receipt and we will sort it out.

How do I cancel the subscription?

The subscription is billed by Apple, so it is cancelled there. On iPhone or iPad: Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, Activity Daily, Cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the time you have already paid for stays open until it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple. The lifetime purchase is not a subscription; there is nothing to cancel.

I paid on one phone. Do I have to pay again on another?

No. Use the same Apple ID on the other device, open the Premium card and tap Restore purchases. The purchase belongs to the App Store account, not to a child profile, so every child on the phone gets it.

The microphone button does nothing, or says the microphone was blocked

The first tap asks for microphone and speech recognition permission. If it was declined, turn both back on in the device settings under Activity Daily. Speech recognition is done by the device, so on some phones it also needs an internet connection the first time. The microphone is never required: every hobby can be added by tapping its picture or by typing.

Nothing is read aloud, or the App is silent

Check three things. First, the Read aloud switch in the profile tab is on. Second, the device volume is up and the silent switch is off; on iPhone the ring/silent switch mutes the App too. Third, the device has a voice for the App’s language: iPhones and iPads have one built in, while on Android the Google text-to-speech voice for Turkish or English has to be installed in the device’s language settings. Without a voice the App keeps working, only quietly.

I said a hobby and the App did not understand it

The App listens for the hobbies in its catalogue and for the everyday words children use for them. A word it does not know, say “skateboard”, is kept exactly as the child said it and gets its own activities. Speak after the button says it is listening, one hobby at a time, and if it still misses, tap the picture or type the word instead.

The timer ran out. What happens now?

Nothing stops. The ring turns into a star, the App says there is no rush, and the child can keep going as long as they like. The +2 minutes button is always there, and so is Pause. The timer can be hidden entirely with the Show the timer switch in the profile tab.

Is it safe for my child to do these alone?

The activities use everyday things from home, and most can be done by the child with an adult nearby. A few steps call for scissors, a needle, a knife, a candle or something hot; those steps say so and are meant for an adult to do or to supervise closely. Please read the materials list before starting and stay close.

The same activity came back, or I want a different one

There are more than a hundred activities, and one that has been done is not offered again until the others for that hobby have all been used. Tap new idea on the home screen for another one, and add more hobbies for more variety; a child who picks all the hobbies gets months of days without a repeat.

I forgot the parent password

The password is stored only on this device, in hashed form, so we cannot read it or reset it for you, and there is no recovery button in the App. The only way back in is to delete the App and install it again. That also deletes the profiles, stars and history, so please write the new password down somewhere safe.

I have more than one child

Add a profile for each child in the profile tab. Each one has its own age, hobbies, stars and history, and the parent area shows them side by side.

I deleted the App and lost the stars

Everything is stored on the device only, which is what keeps children’s data private. There is no cloud backup, so deleting the App removes the profiles, stars and history for good. A Premium purchase is the exception: it lives with your Apple ID, so Restore purchases brings it back.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The activities are inside the App and nothing is downloaded. A connection is needed only for the device’s speech recognition on some phones, and for buying or restoring Premium.

Will it send notifications?

No. Activity Daily sends no notifications at all.
