Your photos never leave your device. Sweep has no account, no server and no analytics.

The short version

• Every comparison, every sharpness measurement and every suggestion is computed on your phone.
• Photos, previews, image fingerprints and scan results stay on your phone. They are never uploaded.
• The only data that leaves your device is what is needed to verify a purchase.

The photo library permission

Sweep asks for access to your photo library because scanning it is what the app does. With that access Sweep reads small previews of your photos, measures them, and moves the items you confirm to your system trash. It does not read location data from your photos: the app does not request the permission that would allow it.

You can withdraw the permission at any time in your system settings. Sweep then stops finding anything, and nothing else changes.

What stays on your device

• The scan cache: the system identifier of each photo, its fingerprint, sharpness, exposure, contrast, size, date and type.
• Your decisions: which items you chose to keep, and a history of how much space you reclaimed.
• Your settings, including the app language.

This data is stored in the app's own container. Deleting Sweep deletes all of it. Because it is local, it does not move to a new phone and it is not included in cloud backups.

What leaves your device

Exactly one thing: purchase verification. When you buy or restore Premium, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated user identifier, the store receipt, your country and the app version, and tells the app whether Premium is active. This identifier is not linked to your name, your email or your photos, and we cannot use it to identify you.

The payment itself is processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, no usage tracking, no crash reporting.
• No profiling, no automated decisions with legal effect.
• No sale or sharing of personal data. There is nothing to sell.

How long data is kept

• On device data: until you delete it in the app or uninstall Sweep.
• Purchase records: kept by RevenueCat and the stores for as long as needed for the subscription and for legal accounting periods.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and under Turkish law number 6698 (KVKK) you may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data about you, and you may object to processing. Since the only personal data we can reach is the purchase record, that is what such a request covers. Write to gelistirbizi@gmail.com and we answer within 30 days. Children

Sweep is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
