Kullanım Koşulları

My Hajj & Umrah Journey · Last updated 5 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Hac Umre Yolculuğum mobile application (the “App”), published by Safiye Meram (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please delete the App.

1. Who may use the App

The App is made for a general audience: anyone preparing for Hajj or Umrah, and anyone travelling with them. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf and remains responsible for any purchase made in the App.

2. What the App does

You enter your departure date and the App builds a personal preparation plan backwards from it, giving you a measured amount of work each day: what to read, what to memorise, which arrangement to make and when. It also carries an offline library (the stages of the rites, supplications, rulings, places to visit, a glossary and Arabic phrases), a circuit counter for tawaf and sa'y, a dhikr counter, a qibla compass, prayer times for Makkah and Madinah, a travel card, an emergency health card, a prayer list and a journal. Everything it records is kept on your own device.

3. Religious content is information, not a personal ruling

The content comes from the Pilgrim's Guide (2025) of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Türkiye (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı) and from the rulings of its High Board of Religious Affairs, and each item names its source. It is presented for study, not as a ruling on your particular circumstances. For a question about your own situation, ask a qualified scholar, your local mufti's office or your group's guide. The App does not provide religious counselling.

4. Prayer times, qibla and the Hijri date are calculated results

Prayer times are calculated using the Umm al-Qura method, the qibla direction from your device's sensors, and the Hijri date arithmetically. Any of the three may differ from the announcement where you actually are, and a phone compass can be thrown off by metal, magnets or a case. Follow the mosque, the local authority and your own eyes; treat the App as a convenience, not an authority.

5. The health card is your own note, not medical advice

The emergency health card is a place to write down what you would want a stranger to know if you could not speak: blood type, chronic conditions, medication, allergies. You write it, you keep it up to date, and you decide whether to show it. It is not medical advice, it does not replace a doctor or a prescription, and we do not check what you put in it.

6. Location and the automatic counter

If you switch on the automatic counter, the App asks for location access so it can count your circuits around the Ka'bah or your legs between Safa and Marwa. GPS is imprecise inside a crowded mosque and the count can be wrong. Manual counting is always available and always takes priority: you can correct the number at any time. Never rely on the App alone for the validity of an act of worship.

7. Your data is on your device

There is no account and no server. Everything you enter is stored on your phone. Take a backup from Me, then My data if it matters to you, because if you delete the App, lose the phone or reset it, we cannot restore anything. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

8. Voluntary support

Every feature of the App is free and will stay free. If you wish, you can make a one time contribution through the App Store or Google Play. Please read this carefully:

9. Sources and intellectual property

The design and the software of the App belong to us. The Qur'anic text and the supplications are from sources in the public domain; the guide content and the rulings belong to the Presidency of Religious Affairs and are used with attribution for the purpose of study. Photographs of places carry their own licence and attribution inside the App. You may use the App for your own preparation; you may not copy its content into another product or resell it.

10. Availability and liability

The App is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will run without interruption or without error, that prayer times will be reachable when the network is not, or that the automatic counter will count correctly in every crowd. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for indirect loss arising from use of the App. This does not affect the rights you have as a consumer, which cannot be signed away.

11. Changes

These Terms may be updated, and the current version is always the one published at this address. If a change matters, it is announced inside the App.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye.
