Kids Read Daily collects nothing. The App has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no network requests: it does not send anything anywhere, and it works with the device offline. Everything the child does stays in the App's own storage on your device. This page explains that in full, because the App is directed to children and we want a parent to be able to check the claim.

1. What is stored on your device

The App keeps the following in its own storage on the device, so that it can show the same progress the next time it opens:

• the first name or nickname the child types when setting up, used only to greet the child inside the App;
• the school grade and the reading buddy character that were chosen;
• the chosen language;
• reading progress: which story is the current quest, which pages have been read, which stories are finished;
• stars earned, the day streak and reading statistics;
• whether the paid stories have been unlocked.

This information never leaves the device. We cannot see it, we do not receive a copy of it, and it is not backed up to any server of ours. If your device backs itself up to iCloud or to Google, that backup is governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy policy, not by ours.

2. What we do not collect

No account, no e-mail address, no password. No location. No access to the camera, the microphone, the photo library or the contacts: the App never asks for those permissions, and you can confirm this in your device settings. No advertising, no advertising identifier, no third party ad network. No analytics, no crash reporting, no usage tracking, no cookies, no fingerprinting. No chat, no comments, no user generated content, no links out to social networks or to other websites.

3. Children's privacy and COPPA

Kids Read Daily is directed to children under 13 and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

We do not collect personal information from children. The nickname the child types is stored on the device alone and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, so no verifiable parental consent is required for a transfer that never happens. We do not condition a child's use of the App on disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary.

Because the App transmits nothing, there is no data held about your child for us to show you or to delete. If you still want everything erased from the device, use Reset in the family section behind the parent gate, or delete the App. As the operator of a service directed to children, our identity and contact details are:

4. Read-aloud

The read-aloud button uses the speech synthesiser built into the operating system of your phone or tablet. The App passes it the text of the story page that is on screen. On current iOS and Android devices this synthesis happens on the device itself. Some platform voices can be downloaded from the vendor for higher quality; that download is a function of the operating system, is initiated by you in the device settings, and is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy.

5. Purchases

Paid stories are purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or receive your payment card, your billing address or your store account details: the transaction takes place entirely between you and the store, under its own privacy policy. To check whether a purchase is active we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and the store's own receipt information. It does not receive the child's nickname, the reading progress or any other content from the App.

6. Third parties

The App contains no third party advertising, analytics or tracking software. Apart from the app stores and RevenueCat described above, no company receives data from the App.

7. Deleting the data

In the family section, behind the parent gate, Reset erases the profile, the progress, the stars and the statistics from the device. Deleting the App removes all of it as well. Because nothing is stored on our side, deletion on the device is complete deletion.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the KVKK you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of personal data about you or your child, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Since we hold no such data, these rights are satisfied in practice by the device itself: the data is in your hands. If you have a question about this, write to us and we will answer.

9. Changes to this policy

If we ever change the App in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page before the change ships and change the date at the top. If a future version were to collect personal information from children, we would obtain verifiable parental consent first, as COPPA requires.

Kids Read Daily hiçbir veri toplamaz. Uygulamada hesap, reklam, analitik ve ağ isteği yoktur: hiçbir şeyi hiçbir yere göndermez ve cihazda çevrimdışı çalışır. Çocuğun yaptığı her şey, cihazınızdaki uygulama deposunda kalır. Uygulama çocuklara yönelik olduğu ve bir ebeveynin bu iddiayı denetleyebilmesini istediğimiz için bu sayfa konuyu ayrıntısıyla anlatır.

1. Cihazınızda ne saklanır

Uygulama, bir sonraki açılışta aynı ilerlemeyi gösterebilmek için şunları cihazdaki kendi deposunda tutar:

• çocuğun kurulumda yazdığı ad ya da takma ad; yalnızca uygulama içinde çocuğa seslenmek için kullanılır;
• seçilen okul sınıfı ve okuma arkadaşı karakteri;
• seçilen dil;
• okuma ilerlemesi: hangi hikaye güncel görev, hangi sayfalar okundu, hangi hikayeler bitti;
• kazanılan yıldızlar, gün serisi ve okuma istatistikleri;
• ücretli hikayelerin açılıp açılmadığı.

Bu bilgiler cihazdan asla çıkmaz. Biz onları göremeyiz, bir kopyasını almayız ve hiçbir sunucumuza yedeklenmez. Cihazınız kendini iCloud'a ya da Google'a yedekliyorsa o yedek bizim değil, Apple'ın ya da Google'ın kendi gizlilik politikasına tabidir.

2. Toplamadıklarımız

Hesap yok, e-posta adresi yok, parola yok. Konum yok. Kameraya, mikrofona, fotoğraf kitaplığına ya da rehbere erişim yok: uygulama bu izinleri hiç istemez, bunu cihaz ayarlarınızdan doğrulayabilirsiniz. Reklam yok, reklam kimliği yok, üçüncü taraf reklam ağı yok. Analitik yok, çökme raporu yok, kullanım takibi yok, çerez yok, parmak izi çıkarma yok. Sohbet yok, yorum yok, kullanıcı içeriği yok, sosyal ağlara ya da başka sitelere çıkan bağlantı yok.

3. Çocukların gizliliği ve COPPA

Kids Read Daily 13 yaş altı çocuklara yöneliktir ve Çocukların Çevrimiçi Gizliliğini Koruma Yasası (COPPA), Avrupa Birliği Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) ile Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu'na (KVKK) uyacak biçimde tasarlanmıştır.

Çocuklardan kişisel bilgi toplamayız. Çocuğun yazdığı takma ad yalnızca cihazda saklanır; bize ya da başka birine hiçbir zaman iletilmez, dolayısıyla hiç gerçekleşmeyen bir aktarım için doğrulanabilir ebeveyn onayı gerekmez. Çocuğun uygulamayı kullanmasını, makul olarak gerekenden fazla bilgi vermesi koşuluna bağlamayız.

Uygulama hiçbir şey iletmediği için, çocuğunuz hakkında size gösterebileceğimiz ya da silebileceğimiz bir veri elimizde yoktur. Yine de her şeyin cihazdan silinmesini istiyorsanız ebeveyn kapısının arkasındaki aile bölümünde Sıfırla'yı kullanın ya da uygulamayı silin. 4. Sesli okuma

Sesli okuma düğmesi, telefonunuzun ya da tabletinizin işletim sistemindeki konuşma sentezleyicisini kullanır. Uygulama ona ekrandaki hikaye sayfasının metnini verir. Güncel iOS ve Android cihazlarda bu sentezleme cihazın kendisinde yapılır. Bazı sistem sesleri daha yüksek kalite için üreticiden indirilebilir; bu indirme işletim sisteminin bir işlevidir, cihaz ayarlarından sizin başlatmanızla olur ve Apple'ın ya da Google'ın gizlilik politikasına tabidir.

5. Satın alma

Ücretli hikayeler Apple App Store ya da Google Play üzerinden satın alınır. Ödeme kartınızı, fatura adresinizi ya da mağaza hesabı bilgilerinizi asla görmez ve almayız: işlem tümüyle sizinle mağaza arasında, mağazanın kendi gizlilik politikası uyarınca gerçekleşir. Bir satın almanın etkin olup olmadığını denetlemek için RevenueCat kullanırız; RevenueCat yalnızca anonim bir kimlik ile mağazanın kendi makbuz bilgisini alır. Çocuğun takma adını, okuma ilerlemesini ya da uygulamadaki başka bir içeriği almaz.

6. Üçüncü taraflar

Uygulamada üçüncü taraf reklam, analitik ya da izleme yazılımı yoktur. Yukarıda anlatılan uygulama mağazaları ve RevenueCat dışında hiçbir şirket uygulamadan veri almaz.

7. Verilerin silinmesi

Ebeveyn kapısının arkasındaki aile bölümünde Sıfırla, profili, ilerlemeyi, yıldızları ve istatistikleri cihazdan siler. Uygulamayı silmek de hepsini kaldırır. Bizim tarafımızda hiçbir şey saklanmadığı için cihazdaki silme, tam silme demektir.

8. Haklarınız

GDPR ve KVKK uyarınca, kendinize ya da çocuğunuza ait kişisel verilere erişme, düzeltme, silme ve işlenmesine itiraz etme ile denetim makamına şikayette bulunma hakkınız vardır. Elimizde böyle bir veri bulunmadığı için bu haklar uygulamada cihazın kendisiyle karşılanır: veri sizin elinizdedir. Bu konuda bir sorunuz olursa bize yazın, yanıtlayalım.

9. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler

Uygulamayı gizliliği etkileyecek biçimde değiştirirsek, değişiklik yayına çıkmadan önce bu sayfayı güncelleriz ve başındaki tarihi değiştiririz. İleride bir sürüm çocuklardan kişisel bilgi toplayacak olursa, COPPA'nın gerektirdiği gibi önce doğrulanabilir ebeveyn onayı alırız.
