gelistirbizi@gmail.com. Please say which device and which app version you are on; the version is at the bottom of the Settings screen.

I bought Premium but nothing unlocked

Open Settings and tap Restore purchases, or open the paywall and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. You need a working connection for that one moment. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the store receipt and we will sort it out.

How do I cancel a subscription?

On iPhone or iPad: Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store, profile picture, Payments and subscriptions. We cannot cancel it for you. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and has nothing to cancel.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes, completely. The whole course, all 614 analysed entries and all typefaces are inside the app. A connection is needed only to buy or restore a purchase.

I lost my progress

Progress is stored only on the device, so deleting the app, switching phone or wiping the device loses it and we cannot restore it. Your purchase is not lost: tap Restore purchases. We say this plainly in the app for the same reason we say it here.

My reminder never arrives

Check that notifications are allowed for the app in your system settings. The reminder is scheduled inexactly, which is deliberate: it can arrive a little after the minute you chose, and that costs far less battery than an exact alarm.

I think a spelling or a reading is wrong

Please tell us, and include the word and what you think it should be. Ottoman spelling was never fully standardised and variants are common, so we will say which sources we followed. Genuine errors are fixed in the next update and we are grateful for them.

Why does the app say a word has more than one reading?

Because it does. Ottoman rarely writes its vowels, so one spelling often carries several readings and only the context decides. The app shows the alternatives rather than pretending the spelling is unambiguous; that ambiguity is the thing the course teaches you to resolve.

Can I use this for a document I really need to read?

Use it to learn, then read the document yourself. For anything legal, genealogical or scholarly that matters, have a trained reader check your transcription.
