Where do I put the phone?

On the nightstand, within arm's reach, with the microphone edge facing you and the screen down. Keep it plugged in. Do not put it under a pillow or under the blanket: the fabric muffles exactly the low frequencies snoring is made of, and the phone gets hot.

It detected nothing last night

Three usual reasons. The phone was too far away or covered. The room is noisy enough that the detector's own noise floor rose above your snoring. Or you genuinely did not snore. Try moving the phone closer and setting Sensitivity to High in Settings.

It detected things that were not me

A fan, traffic, a partner or a pet can all cross the threshold. Set Sensitivity to Low, which only keeps loud and clear events. Snoor cannot tell two people apart: it reports the room, not a person.

Does it record the whole night?

No. The microphone stream passes through a few seconds of memory and is continuously overwritten. A file is written only when an event is detected, and it is about five seconds long. A typical night takes between 5 and 15 MB. You can switch clip saving off completely in Settings and keep only the counts.

How much battery does it use?

Roughly 3 to 5 percent over a full night on a modern phone, with the screen off. Leave it charging anyway: a night of tracking on a phone at 20 percent will not reach morning.

Does Snoor work without internet?

Yes, completely. Detection, clips, reports and the alarm all work in airplane mode. The only thing that needs a connection is buying or restoring Snoor Pro.

The screen went dark while tracking

That is deliberate. The tracking screen dims itself after about half a minute so the phone is not a lamp in a dark room. Touch it to bring it back. Tracking is unaffected either way, and it continues with the screen fully off.

What happens if I get a call during the night?

The recording pauses for the call and resumes by itself when the call ends. The session is not lost.

The app closed overnight and I lost the night

You did not. Events and graph points are written as they happen, not at the end. Next time you open Snoor it offers to finish the interrupted night and shows the report with everything that was recorded up to that point.

How does the smart alarm decide when to ring?

Inside the window before your set time, it watches how much the room is moving and sounding. Someone who is stirring is close to the surface of sleep, so it rings then. If the window passes with no sign of stirring, it rings exactly at your set time. It will never fail to ring.

Is the sleep score a medical measurement?

No. It is a simple, transparent number built from how much of the night was spent snoring, how often you coughed or ground your teeth, and how long you slept. It is for comparing your own nights with each other. Snoor cannot detect sleep apnoea or any other condition. Talk to a doctor about anything that worries you.

I bought Pro but the features are locked

Open the Snoor Pro screen and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account you bought with. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the store receipt.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iOS: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal and Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

Do my nights move to a new phone?

No. Everything is stored locally, so a new phone starts empty. Your Pro purchase does move: restore it with the same store account.
