Snoor · Last updated 15 September 2026

Snoor listens while you sleep and tells you what it heard. Every sound is analysed on your own device, and your audio is never uploaded.

Who provides this app

Snoor is published by Safiye Meram, Esenler/Istanbul, Türkiye. You can reach us at gelistirbizi@gmail.com.

What Snoor does

  • Listens through your microphone while a tracking session is running, and classifies what it hears on your device.
  • Saves a short clip, about five seconds, only when it detects snoring, sleep talking, coughing or teeth grinding. It does not record the whole night.
  • Builds a morning report: a sleep score, a noise and snoring graph, counts for each kind of event, and the clips it captured.
  • Estimates your breathing rate and how regular it was, from the rhythm of the sound in the room.

What Snoor never does

  • It does not upload, stream or share your audio. Not the clips, not the parts it discarded.
  • It does not record continuously, and it does not listen when a tracking session is not running.
  • It does not require an account and it does not show ads.

Snoor is not a medical device

Snoor is a wellness and self observation tool. The sleep score, the snoring percentage and the breathing estimate are produced by acoustic measurement on a consumer microphone. They are meant for comparing your own nights with each other, not for diagnosis.

Snoor cannot detect sleep apnoea or any other condition, and a quiet night in the app is not evidence of health. If you are worried about your breathing or your sleep, speak to a doctor. Do not use this app to make a medical decision, and do not delay care because of what it shows.

Recording other people

A microphone in a bedroom may capture more than your own breathing. You are responsible for the recordings you make. Tell the people who share your room that the app is running, get their agreement before you record, and get it again before you share a clip of them with anyone. In some places recording another person without consent is against the law. Snoor gives you the tools; the decision and the responsibility are yours.

Your recordings belong to you

The clips are yours. They sit in the app's private storage on your phone, and we have no copy and no way to reach them. If you delete the app, they go with it.

Snoor Pro

  • Snoor is free to use. Tracking, the sleep score and the snoring percentage are not limited.
  • Snoor Pro unlocks unlimited clip playback, the smart wake alarm, long term trends, unlimited night history and the breathing readings.
  • Pro is sold as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a one time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not here.
  • Purchases made on iOS are also governed by the Apple Standard EULA.

Refunds

Payments are handled by Apple and Google, not by us. Refund requests go to the store you bought from: Apple or Google. Write to gelistirbizi@gmail.com if you need help with the request.

Age

Snoor is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Warranty and liability

Snoor is provided as it is. Detection is automatic and can be wrong in both directions: it can miss a sound, and it can name a sound something it was not. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for missed detections, for decisions taken on the basis of a report, or for indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use Snoor after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to consumer protection rules that apply where you live.
